The Origin of Women, Wisdom & Wine
Women Wisdom and Wine (WWW) was born in 2012 in Los Angeles, California, as a transformative Bible study led by Tanya Young Williams. Inspired by her love for three essential elements—meaningful fellowship with like-minded women, the profound wisdom of the Word, and the joy of wine—Tanya envisioned a space where women could gather, reflect, and grow together.
For the past 13 years, WWW has consistently flourished across cities like Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, and Mercer County, creating a sanctuary where women can share their stories, ask questions, exhale their burdens, and find laughter amid life’s challenges.
Tanya passionately believes in redefining spiritual discourse, stating, “It has always been important to me to deconstruct the ‘fire and brimstone’ preaching rhetoric that discourages people from authentically seeking joy and pleasure while simultaneously deeply honoring and worshipping God. WWW Bible Study has become a haven for women to eat, drink, and be merry celebrating the gifts bestowed upon us by God.”
